Thanks for an excellent course. I Have tried a lot of courses/tutorials on DVD , download , youtube etc. and think this one is the best by far.here is some of the reasons why:

1.The educational level is very high and professional. Each chapter covers an important part of Live. Everything is presented in a clear ,straightforward way and accompanied with practical examples. (for me as a foreigner ) It is still very easy to hear and understand everything and although the tempo is rather high the learning progression flows naturally in a Steady even pace.

2.The accompanying project material that comes in the extra download contains exactly what is shown in the lessons and now forms a new and important part of my own live library-very useful as a starting point/inspiration for Other projects.

3.Every lesson also contains some really useful and special tip or trix and is not just a video explaining what already is contained within abletons own manual. (allthough I Have used Live since 2005 - version 5, i have found a lot of new useful info .) Since beginning the advanced course in late dec. i have logged over 30 hours of inspirational explorations using your lessons as mere starting points.
Especially my use of racks and slicing have improved a lot.

4.Lastly (although i have´nt used it myself yet), the fact that Rob is available for questioning also sets this course apart from all Other i have seen .

I am very happy with the courses and learning the full Ableton experience. In fact I have two albums available at iTunes Stores produced entirely with Ableton resources. They appear by the name of Billy Zelaznog which is my artistic name.

Hello All

Just a quick note to say a HUGE "Thank you" for your assistance whilst enrolling for the course.

I had some difficulties with my internet connection out here in St. Kitts W.Indies and both Rob and Tim guided me through very smoothly. My emails were replied to immediately and I am now enrolled.

Now enrolled I have done the first couple of modules and I'm already finding a hidden talent I thought I never had whilst using a similar Steinberg product.

Robs ability to put things across in plain English is a talent many people don't possess. I now look forward to switching on the Mac and starting the next module.

Just finished the courses, and WOW, so amazing!! The last Video on the Advanced was my favorite!! Rob where did you learn to produce and play music? That track was really cool!!

Will have to go thru things again a second and third time till I get the hang of producing my own music, but this course was worth every penny!!

Will you be doing more courses like this, Im sure there is tons more that ableton can do that was not discussed..

I have already seen many courses like this and Abletoncourses.com material is very good indeed!

Never used this app before, so I felt to get both series of materials (Beginner and Advanced)! This is a BIG course (9 hours 8 minutes) and covers nearly every aspects of Ableton Live 8.
Having checked the videos now I absolutely got why it is praised by many producers and what it is especially good for. The concept and the structure of both courses offered me a great learning experience and learning something really new and different was a big fun at last! Even the basic Live course surpassed my expectation and resulted sometimes in a high "whoooaaa-factor".

All videos come with great looking PDF materials, they reminded me perfectly what I had watched earlier, so these additional PDFs for the videos were an unusual big plus for me. As my mother tongues is different to English, I was a bit afraid to understand the narration, but it was baseless: the speed and the articulation of Rob's voice is very soothing, professional and easy to understand even to non-English producers with some basic knowledge of English. All in all, I liked both courses as they provided a fresh new viewpoint of music production, represented in a professional, comprehensive series of lecture with great bonus content (PDF chapters, Loopmasters loops prepared to use in Ableton Live, the Ableton Live session files containing the course materials and a Novation Bass Station VSTi licence). Definitely recommended!
